This Privacy Statement is designed to inform you about the types of Personal Information that REALREPORTS gathers when you interact with any REALREPORTS content, products, services, websites, or applications on mobile devices (together referred to as REALREPORTS Services). It explains how we handle your Personal Information, the ways we use it, and the circumstances under which we disclose it to third parties.

Protecting the Privacy of Minors

Unless explicitly specified by these Terms of Use, THE SERVICES ARE NOT INTENDED TO provide you with any financial, real estate, or related advice of any kind. You understand and agree that the Services may include advertisements. Unless provided for in our Terms of Use, RealReports assumes no responsibility for any result or consequence related directly or indirectly to any action or inaction that you or any consumer takes based on the Services or any other information available through or in connection with the Services.

Collection of Personal Information

This Privacy Statement uses the term Personal Information to refer to data that can identify, describe, be associated with, or potentially be connected to a specific person or household, either directly or indirectly. Personal Information does not encompass data that is available in public government records, nor does it include anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be traced back to any particular individual or household.

As part of the REALREPORTS Services, REALREPORTS may gather Personal Information from various groups, including:

– Consumers who use REALREPORTS Services designed for customer use,
– Individuals such as employees, consultants, or contractors working for businesses that have or might have a relationship with REALREPORTS (Business Employees),
– Individuals applying for employment at REALREPORTS (Job Applicants).

REALREPORTS may collect the following categories of Personal Information: 

  • Identifiers: Name, alias, address, unique identifier, IP address, email address 
  • Personal Information associated with customer accounts: Name, telephone number, email address
  • Characteristics of protected classifications: Age, disability status, gender identity, military status
  • Commercial information: Records of products or services purchased, obtained or considered, other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies
  • Internet or similar network activity: Browsing history, search history, information regarding a user’s interaction with an internet website, application or advertisement
  • Geolocation data: Zip code or physical location
  • Sensitive Personal Information: Precise geolocation, credit or debit card information, username and password for account login 

Sources of Personal Information

REALREPORTS may collect Personal Information:  

  1. Directly from you,  
  2. Automatically through cookies, tags and other unique identifiers (collectively, Unique Identifiers),  
  3. From or through the business relationship between REALREPORTS and you or your employer or the person or entity who has engaged you (Employer),  
  4. From REALREPORTS’s service providers or  
  5. From other third parties with your consent.   

An organization with which REALREPORTS has a current or potential business relationship may also make available to REALREPORTS certain Personal Information of its Business Employees. 

Protection of Personal Information

REALREPORTS has established a robust information security framework that includes administrative, technical, and physical barriers designed to prevent unauthorized access to the Personal Information it collects. Beyond the disclosures made in this Privacy Statement, REALREPORTS commits to not utilizing, selling, sharing, or disclosing any Personal Information that requires heightened security measures, such as precise location data, government-issued IDs, or detailed demographic profiles (Sensitive Personal Information). Moreover, REALREPORTS ensures it does not sell information that directly identifies you, including your name, address, email, or phone number. To safeguard your REALREPORTS account against unauthorized entry, we highly advise using a distinct password, keeping your password confidential, logging out after each session, and closing your browser following the use of REALREPORTS Services.

Third Party Information

You may access REALREPORTS Services through third party websites or social media (collectively, Third Party Websites).  By accessing REALREPORTS Services through a Third Party Website, you may be allowing such Third Party Website to view, collect or use any information you provide to REALREPORTS.  If you are concerned about accessing REALREPORTS Services through a Third Party Website, you can instead access REALREPORTS Services directly through REALREPORTS websites. REALREPORTS Applications and REALREPORTS emails may include links that allow you to access Third Party Websites. REALREPORTS does not control the collection, use or disclosure of any information on such Third Party Websites or the content on such Third Party Websites.  

Except with respect to Personal Information of Business Employees, this Privacy Statement does not describe the collection or use of Personal Information when REALREPORTS receives Personal Information from third parties in connection with services provided by REALREPORTS to such third parties as a service provider.  In those instances, REALREPORTS will use and disclose Personal Information provided by such third parties in accordance with the agreements entered into between REALREPORTS and such third parties. 

Disclosing Personal Information

  1. REALREPORTS collects and uses Personal Information to operate its business and provide, develop and improve REALREPORTS Services, including: 
    1. To fulfill the request for which the information is provided; 
    2. To respond to your communications; 
    3. To communicate with you in connection with your REALREPORTS account (for example, to provide services or notify you about REALREPORTS Services, the benefits available to you through your REALREPORTS account and other special offers and promotions);

    5. To provide functionality, analyze performance, fix errors and improve the usability and effectiveness of REALREPORTS Services;   
    6. To personalize and improve your experience with REALREPORTS Services by making recommendations and delivering content, products and services that might be of interest to you;

    8. To fulfill our business purposes, including internal record keeping and administration and 
    9. To prevent unauthorized or unlawful use of REALREPORTS Services and protect the rights, property, security and safety of our users, REALREPORTS and REALREPORTS Services. 
  2. REALREPORTS collects Sensitive Personal Information for the following purposes: 
    1. Precise geolocation to provide information about real estate professionals and their services in your then-current location and 
    2. Payment card information to process your purchase of real estate reports. 
    3. REALREPORTS does not store precise geolocation information or complete payment card information.   
  3. REALREPORTS may disclose Personal Information: 
    1. To our service providers as necessary for our business purposes (for example, to provide REALREPORTS Services, to communicate with you through a chat feature, process credit card transactions, analyze data, serve and measure ad impressions, provide marketing assistance and measure unique visitors); 
    2. As necessary to defend against legal claims or otherwise protect our rights; 
    3. To third parties as required to respond to your inquiries, or by law or judicial proceeding and 
    4. As requested by you, such as when you submit a request for information from a real estate professional or services through a REALREPORTS Application, except that REALREPORTS has no control over the subsequent use or disclosure of the Personal Information by such third parties.  
  4. REALREPORTS may share Personal Information collected through Unique Identifiers:    
    1. With third parties to help build a profile of your interests and for cross context behavioral advertising, cross device linking or for other purposes similar to serving targeted advertising (collectively, Targeted Advertising).     2.  You may opt out of receiving Targeted Advertising by changing your browser options to either stop accepting cookies or prompt you before accepting a cookie from any website.
